OF THE SCRATCH OLYMPIAD 2022
Scratch programming is an exciting world you can join at any time. You can create your own games, cartoons or even control a real robot!
Scratch Olympiad is an international competition that brings together future developers and innovators and their teachers. We have 12 competitions for children and teenagers and 2 special competitions for adults.

When?
Application deadline: May 21, 2022.
Publication of the results of the Finnish national stage: June 10, 2022.
Final stage of the Scratch Olympiad: September 2022.
All participants will receive diplomas and the winners of the Final stage will receive special prizes.

Where?
The Scratch Olympiad will take place online. All you have to do is submit your project!

Who can participate?
Students from 7 years old and adults from any corner of the world can become participants in the Scratch Olympiad.
Choose a nomination based on your age and interests and send us your project.
Fresh ideas, creativity and some Scratch skills are all you need!

How to apply?
You need to create your project in Scratch or RobboScratch and send it to the organizers before the application deadline.
Participation in the Finnish national stage is free of charge.

Scratch is a free programming environment designed to engage children in creative learning experiences.
RobboScratch is an extension of the Scratch programming language that allows working with robots.

The International Scratch Creative Programming Olympiad was launched in 2017, and in 2021 it has attracted more than 4,300 participants from around the world.
It is not affiliated with Scratch or the Scratch Foundation.

Participation in the Scratch Olympiad requires free open-source equipment and national stages of the Scratch Olympiad is absolutely free for everyone. However, you can financially support us in order to allow young people around the world to improve their creative capabilities.
